On Friday, August 31st, my son Justin was hit by a car. He had looked both ways but with a vehicle parked along the sidewalk, he was unable to see the car coming. The person driving, of course, was unable to see him either due to the parked car. He was taken immediately to Children’s Hospital, intubated and taken for imaging. Most of the bones in his face are broken, needing multiple surgeries to repair. He is currently on a ventilator until his lungs can heal. This child is one of the funniest, sweetest and craziest you could ever hope to meet. He’s best friends with his twin brother, and makes friends with everyone he meets. We are grateful for anything you can give, even if it’s only a prayer for this beautiful boy!
