On December 27, 2017, Jack awoke with what he thought was a migraine headache, only to discover later in the emergency room that he had an aneurysm which had ruptured. Following more than four hours of surgery that evening to clip the site of the bleeding, Jack was kept heavily sedated to facilitate his healing. Complications impeded his progress, including Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), pneumonia, fever, and a blood clot in his leg, but miraculously Jack is on his road to recovery.

With continued prayers and support, Jack should be transitioning from the current acute care facility to a long-term skilled nursing facility in the coming days.  Upon meeting various requirements Jack will then be cleared to transition home. However, in order to do so, their home will need to be modified to meet his needs. This gofundme effort will go towards these modifications and alleviate some financial stress on the family.

Jack is a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin to many. Jack is also an independent HVAC contractor that is the first to help in a time of need.  We’re hoping we can return the favor and help Jack and his family in their time of need. If you aren’t able to help financially, your continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
