As a child and teenager, I was bullied and teased for having congenital ear microtia. An outer ear deformation. People often just called me "little ears" instead of my name, I was known as my defect, When both of my children were born with the little ears, I feared for them to go through the same. Now 9 years later, my son has also been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and Global Developmental Delays. Having the desire to protect and teach my children about the world, I also realized there was a great deal of information that early childhood education seemed to be lacking. That's when I decided to write children's books about issues that affect our children today. Subjects such as inclusion for autism, downs syndrome, dyslexia, physical deformation and more. My goal for this go-fund-me project is to be able to hire and pay for professional illustration, editing, and publishing. I have written 10 AMAZING books, but really need help to get them made professionally. As a homeschool teacher, I'm always searching for new ways to help guide my children down the best possible path, help me today and help those children who suffer or get bullied.
