Please help Nick get a bike!

My name is Ken, I live in Griswold and I am trying to raise money to buy Nickolas a bike.
Nick's mom Cassie entered him in a contest called the Friendship Circle Great Bike Giveaway, which helps provide specialty bikes for kids who can't use any old bike from Walmart. This is some info from the contest that I copied:
"My son was born with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy and has always wanted to be able to ride a bike. But because of his disability, regular bikes will not work. He would love to go on bike rides with his peers as well as his family. He is 11 years old and would love to do things that an 11 year old boy can do."
Unfortunately, Cassie let us know that Nick did not receive enough votes to win a bike. The good news is 170 kids around the US did win bikes. Bad news is 416 did not. Last I saw Nick had over 400 votes, which does not surprise me because our town always comes together to help each other out.
I, like everyone else who voted, received an email with the numbers earlier today. It also gave some info on how to go about getting these bikes directly. I made an inquiry as to how much it would cost, and while I waited I looked up the model Nick was competing for and it was $5000! What is awesome is, the company is offering significant discounts to those who did not win a bike, the answer to my inquiry for a price for Nick: $3000.
I know this is not a little money. But I also know how great the people in this town are, and I ALSO know that if you have ever met Nick, you want him to have this bike, just like I do! So if all the people who voted could donate $5-10, we can get him his bike. Here is Nicks bike:

I put this up for $3500 so that the fees associated with the site do not impede on the $3000 goal.
I am hoping that if you cannot donate, you will atleast spread the word, share this link and with any luck, we can get Nick his bike!
