A Black, non-binary, queer artist and survivor of domestic violence needs help escaping an abusive living situation. Help us ensure that this person can socially isolate in safety.
All of your donations will go to the survivor and will pay for two months of rent and food.
This money is being fundraised on behalf of the survivor by VĪV: Survivors Create, an organization that provides creative avenues for survivors of intimate and sexual violence to lead their own healing. Due to social isolation and COVID-19, violence in the home has drastically increased for thousands of New Yorkers. In response, we have created the Domestic Violence Resource Network for NYC-based victims and survivors of intimate and domestic violence to prioritize victims’ needs during this time — food, housing, & more.
