Vivek Venugopal

Last weekend, as the day drew to a close on what seemed to be a perfectly normal Sunday, a humble and friendly person called Vivek left this mortal world, leaving his family and friends in complete shock! There were no early signs of the massive cardiac arrest he suffered. My close friend Vivek was just 42 years old. He was a kind, generous, hard-working and helpful human being who led a disciplined life driven by good habits and guided by lofty ideals. Anyone he has ever interacted with is only left with good memories of him. Many friends and well-wishers of Vivek have approached me asking how they could help.

Vivek is survived by his wife and two young children. Having witnessed their life change forever within a few minutes that evening, his family faces many different kinds of uncertainties as they try to come to terms. The beneficiary of the amount is Vivek's wife. The fund raised here will help the family tide over immediate expenses around the funeral and other commitments thereby making finance the least of the concerns in the short term.
