Visiting sick Elderly father

After 46 years of being apart, I was reunited with my 80-year-old biological father, Robert Kayseas this past summer.  We went to Raindance ceremony together, where he is the Elder in charge.  My father is in very poor health. Diabetes and other illnesses have taken their toll. On Christmas Day he had major surgery to remove part of his stomach and intestines. He is currently in a rehab facility. 
I wish to spend as much time with him as I can.  He is the medicine man of my tribe and I would like to learn as much I as I can from him before he passes to the next realm. 
I live in Miami and my father lives on Fishing Lake First Nation Reserve, Saskatchewan, Canada. I am asking for $2,000 for a round-trip plane ticket and money to stay two or three weeks while I help him recover.
