'Visions of Beulah' Short Film Fund

We are currently raising money for the production of Visions of Beulah and would be grateful for any support!
Visions of Beulah follows a PhD student, Alex, and his girlfriend, Mari, an artist. When Alex's girlfriend reveals she can hear his thoughts, he decides he must think in images to maintain balance. As he opens himself up to imagination and memory his world loses its characteristic rationale. Inspired by T. S. Elliot’s The Wasteland, the film deals with the modern dichotomy of reality and meaning.
Developed throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, with production being postponed at various points, we are gratefully now in the position of having an excellent full cast and crew eager to make the project a reality. Grassroots funding is essential for the production of non-profit films, and any support you can help us with will assist us in getting off the ground with location permits, transportation, Covid-19 preparations and more!
As lockdown restrictions ease we are planning to film towards the end of April, with the intention of having the final film ready by the end of June. We will send everyone a personal digital download link when it’s ready!
