Virtual Reality Challenge

This year in lieu of the mini- marathon myself, Aidan & 11 friends are taking part in a side by side challenge set to be completed by 23rd May.
The challenge aims to raise money for 3 charities- for Friends of the Coombe (prenatal diagnostic services), CMRF (Childrens Heart Centre & Neonatal Medical/Surgical services) & The Mater Foundation ( for Adult Congenital Heart Services).
This is very close to my heart as its 4 years since I ran the mini- marathon in honour of my daughter Ruth, a little heart warrior & shes turning 5 this May so a nice way to mark her birthday in this lockdown with fundraiser for services she has used, continues to use and will use in future!
Challenge 1 is a A virtual climb of Kilimanjaro in 1 day by 6 people, TEAM CLIMBERS will complete using their own stairs at home & will post progress on Instagram.
The 2nd Challenge is for TEAM MTV who will all post on Instagram that day the music videos they recreated from home! .
In addition to this one team member Kieran Gallagher is running 5k a day for the month of May & one team member Trudy Fallon is organising a distanced relay for 7 children on our road competing in their families.
