Virtual Dementia Alzheimer's Program for PPH
Tax deductible
Our goal is to raise $3200 to bring a new technology called Virtual Dementia to PPH (the Philadelphia Protestant Home). This program allows family members caring for their loved ones stricken with Alzheimer’s to experience a simulation of what it is like to have the disease, and better understand how they can help them manage the condition. PPH will also use the Virtual Dementia program to train staff members to improve the care provided to people who are diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer’s.
The total cost of the technology is $3,700. The Ron S! Charitable Fund has already donated $500 and we are seeking your help to raise the additional $3200. We need to raise the money by the end of the year so PPH can schedule the program for early 2019. We will have an event at PPH on January 5 to honor those who helped with the fundraising effort, to remember our beloved Ron, and enjoy fellowship during the holiday season. All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to PPH for the Virtual Dementia program. This video does an excellent job of explaining how the program works.
