Viro Primary School Music Program

For the past two months I have been volunteering as a teacher at a Primary school in a small Fijian village called Viro. The children here are amazing and I have had the opportunity to teach all of the music classes for the past 8 weeks. The kids here just adore learning and singing songs, rhythms, and anything to do with music.  When I came to Fiji I brought my ukulele along with me, and have been teaching all of the students how to play. They are very keen and have been picking it up quite quickly. You know they enjoy music when they would rather play the ukulele than go outside and play sports. 
As the school is quite small they are not able to finance getting instruments to the children, so I have decided to take it upon myself to try and raise enough funds to supply the school with a class set of ukuleles for the students to learn on. 
These children are genuinely the sweetest group of kids I have ever encountered, and I know it would mean the world to them to have the opportunity to be able to continue learning and exploring music in a more practical way.
If and when the instruments are purchased they would remain at the school, allowing for multiple generations of kids to pursue a deeper understanding and education of music.
Even a small donation or any kind of support would mean so much to me, the kids, and the school. Viro Primary is such a special place, I would be so incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to give something back to them.
