Virginia Bartnicki medical bills

My mom Virginia Bartnicki suffered a severe and unexpected illness Last Wednesday.  She was rushed to the hospital in terrible condition and put in the ICU in severe septic shock. Emergency surgery was done that night in which a section of her colon was removed. She remains in ICU on a ventilator after surgery. Unfortunately Virginia did not respond to conventional treatment for septic shock and was unresponsive to treatment causing her fingers and feet to become severely ischemic.  As of today she is beginning to make some progress but has long road ahead and possibly a significant hospital stay. We started this page to try and help alleviate some of the financial burden she will have when she recovers. She is a wonderful lady with a big heart and we hope we can help her.
