Marathon in Scout’s Uniform World Record Attempt

Having been a Cub Scout as a child and now a Scout Leader, I am a strong believer in the ethos behind Scouting. The Scouts help 460,000 young people in the UK from every background to do more, learn more and be more.  Across divided communities Scouts brings boys and girls together, and in uncertain times helps them develop the values, self-belief and faith in others that will help them mature into confident, resilient and active adults.  The money I raise from my World Record attempt will help to bring skills for life to more young people in the communities that need it most.  Today, there are 55,000 young people in the UK on the waiting list for Scouts who are simply missing out.  I am determined to help change that.
