Il fattore di viralità del coronavirus è stimato tra 2 e 3. Questo significa che, senza le opportune contromisure, ogni persona che viene contagiata ne contagerà a sua volta più di due. È proprio questo meccanismo a permettere al virus di diffondersi così velocemente.
Perché quindi non utilizzare l’arma più subdola del virus, la sua viralità, contro di lui? Questa campagna di raccolta fondi è una dichiarazione di guerra al coronavirus. Se ogni persona che donerà convincerà altre tre persone a donare, ci diffonderemo più velocemente del virus, battendolo con le sue stesse armi.
Da questa idea nasce #ViralForGood, una campagna basata sulla diffusione contagiosa della solidarietà. Non è importante con che cifra contribuisci, l'importante è farlo e invitare quante più persone possibile a fare lo stesso.
Vogliamo sconfiggere il coronavirus, difendendo il nostro Paese da questa minaccia. Grazie ai fondi raccolti, ci proponiamo di farlo in due modi:
❤️ Curando e supportando al meglio chi soffre a causa del virus e salvando le vite delle persone a rischio, per esempio acquistando dispositivi medicali per le unità di terapia intensiva degli ospedali più in difficoltà.
❤️ Fornendo ai medici, infermieri e a tutti gli altri eroi che combattono in prima linea l'attrezzatura necessaria per lavorare al meglio e in sicurezza, come mascherine e tute protettive.
Scegliamo di donare alla Protezione Civile, che svolge il prezioso ruolo di coordinare tutte le azioni di risposta a questa crisi a livello nazionale. Questa fondamentale missione e gli strumenti a sua disposizione la rendono l’ente meglio posizionato per distribuire celermente i fondi raccolti laddove ce n’è più bisogno. Siamo in stretto contatto con la Protezione Civile, che ringrazia di cuore tutti i generosi che hanno contribuito e che contribuiranno.
Questo è un momento di estrema difficoltà per l’Italia. Ma in questo dramma riconosciamo l’opportunità di tirare fuori il meglio di noi. Uniti da un forte senso di responsabilità e dalla solidarietà gli uni per gli altri, possiamo vincere il coronavirus. The virality factor of the coronavirus is estimated to be between 2 and 3. This means that, without the appropriate countermeasures, each infected person will, in turn, infect at least two others. That’s why the virus is spreading so quickly.
So why not turn the tables? Why not use the virus’s most insidious weapon—its virality—against it?
#ViralForGood is a declaration of war on the coronavirus. We want to kill the virus with virality. This is everyone’s opportunity to make a meaningful contribution. If each person who donates convinces three others to also do so, the donations spread faster than the virus, beating it at its own game. It doesn't matter what amount you contribute, the important thing is to do it and invite as many people as possible to do the same.
We want to defend our country and defeat the coronavirus. Thanks to the funds raised, we propose to do so in two ways:
❤️ By treating and supporting those suffering from the virus and by saving the lives of people at risk (e.g., by purchasing medical devices and supplies for the intensive care units of the worst-affected hospitals).
❤️ Providing doctors, nurses and all other heroes who fight in the front line with the necessary equipment to work in the best and safest way, such as masks and protective suits.
With these goals in mind, we intend to donate all contributions to the Dipartimento della Protezione Civile (Department of Civil Protection).
The Protezione Civile plays the vital role of coordinating all response actions to this crisis on a national level. It’s the best-positioned authority to quickly and effectively distribute the funds where the need is greatest. We’re in close contact with the Protezione Civile, which is delighted with the campaign and wishes to thank all the generous donors and those who will contribute in the future.
Millions of us are in lockdown, wanting to help the fight but not sure how. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference. Donate with us and invite at least three friends to do the same. Let’s spread solidarity faster than the coronavirus. #ViralForGood
