Viper Violin for Jamie Lynn

Hello, my name is Jamie Lynn Summerfield and I am the vocalist and electric violinist for the rock band The Shrike.
I recently discovered an amazing electric violin - The Viper by Wood Violins - and I am asking for your help to put this lovely instrument into my hands.
I have been playing violin since I was in the 4th grade. I was classically trained and played up through high school taking private lessons and performing in ensembles and award winning orchestras. I went to college in 2003 and the violin faded from my life for nearly a decade, only coming out for the occasional party or jam circle.
In January of 2013, some friends and I decided to form a rock band and together we created The Shrike. It was then that I began learning the skills of composing rock~n~roll music and made the transition to electric violin.
Fast forward four years to 2017 - in January I attended my first NAMM conference. NAMM is one of the top music industry conferences in the world with approximately 100K attendees who are eager to attend educational seminars and meet with various vendors.
That is where I met the Wood Violins family. Let me tell you a bit about them...
-They are the only electric violin company run by string players for string players.
-Every violin is hand crafted and made in the USA.
-They offer rare fretted fingerboards which come in handy for playing live performances and staying in tune when your bandmates are rocking so loud you can't hear yourself.
-The Barbera pickup technology offered for Wood Violins delivers superb sound quality because there is a separate pickup for each individual string
-The Viper violin specifically is an extremely innovative instrument that straps to the artist instead of being held up under one's chin. (This is very appealing to me because I suffer from chronic neck issues.)
Bottom line - these are high quality instruments designed and crafted by high quality artists and they have caught my attention in a big way.
This is where you can help. These violins inspire me. They motivate me to elevate my craft and will allow me to express my music in new ways. This is the violin I never knew I needed until I had one in my hands. I am asking my friends, family, and fans to help me offset my costs by $2,000. I am ordering a custom made Viper with 5-strings, fretted fingerboard, Barbera pickup, and deluxe finish. This instrument is valued at over $4,600. All funds raised with this campaign will go towards my new instrument.
I am offering a few rewards and made a point to keep them budget conscious so that the money raised with this campaign is actually used for the instrument itself.
