Help Violet pay for Laser Hair Removal

Hi, I'm Violet. I'm a 33 year old disabled and autistic trans woman.

As most of you reading this probably know, facial hair can be one of the most soul crushing sources of gender dysphoria for transgender women. That is true for me as well. I've been out and on HRT for almost four years now, but I've never been in a financial position to get the care I need to feel happy in my own skin. My dysphoria is crushing most days. 90% of that comes from facial hair. It is dark, and even after shaving, a shadow is very visible underneath my skin. Most days, just looking in the mirror at my face and neck can make me burst into tears. I feel extremely uncomfortable in public without wearing large amounts of makeup to cover it up.

In 2019, I was in a car accident that eventually has left me with a bunch of physical and mental symptoms that mean I will never be able to work another day in my life. I do receive some money monthly, but I live with my parents and must pay them the majority of it as rent. Laser hair removal is extremely expensive, and I live in a very isolated and rural part of Canada. Each laser session will cost me about $400, transportation included. I will need between 8 and 12 sessions. This crucial care which will drastically improve my quality of life is currently unaffordable and inaccessible to me.

I can't keep going like this, and I need help.
