VILLA KITTY SANCTUARY NEEDS YOUR HELP

A call out to all animal lovers, please help me raise much needed funds for one of my favourite charities called, VILLA KITTY FOUNDATION. They are WAY OVER THEIR capacity of three hundred and fifty cats with almost FIVE HUNDRED cats and kittens in their care.Sadly, they have had massive issues with all the rain of late, which has caused major infrastructure problems. They will now need to build retaining walls, especially for their NURSERY which was built too close to the river. This project alone, could cost in the vicinity of AU $100,000.
While they desperately need funds for many different projects, I want to start with helping them buy a much needed Blood Analyser. This would save them so much money because currently all resident cats need blood analysis at the vet clinic, which is costly.
They have already raised 50% of the funds needed, which is fantastic, but let’s help them raise a further AU $5000If we can raise over the asking amount, we will also help them step up their vaccinations and sterilisation program. They want to be able to offer this for FREE. Currently, they can only do two FREE sterilisation days a week, but would like to do FOUR. They pay a vet AU $100 to go to Villa Kitty and do these procedures. He completes 10 cats male and female for this amount. For vaccinations, they also offer this FREE to families who cannot afford to pay. It’s one of their BIGGEST expenses. Each vaccine is AU $12 and initially each kitten and cat requires two to three vaccines and then one per year.
I have personally volunteered at this beautiful sanctuary and I have witnessed first hand how much they care for these cats & kitties like they are their own. They are all named and the staff know each and every one of them. It is a busy, colourful and ordered sanctuary where the disadvantaged FELINE, and yes, CANINE as well, residents are honoured, treated, loved and ultimately adopted.
