In October 2014 I was diagnosed with bone cancer (osteosarcoma). It affects mostly young people and appears in the long bones of the body.

The cancer started in my left lower femur, very close to my knee. As it grew it started to grow into my knee and ended up destroying.

I began a high dose chemo protocol in Nov ‘14, had a knee replacement surgery in Feb ‘15, and then again, more chemo and some immunotherapy after my recovery from the surgery.
I finished the treatment in Nov ‘15.

The cancer relapsed in my left lung in Oct ‘17, I started more chemo and had an operation to remove the remaining tumours.

Unfortunately a year later it came back again, but it was now in the right lung and more resistant to the chemotherapy. There was still small modules of cancer in my left lung.
I had another round of high dose chemo to try and shrink the tumour. I then had another surgery to cut out any remaining cancer.




In early 2018  the cancer came back again and is now resistant to any more  chemo so I am left to try alternative methods. 

Radiotherapy doesn’t do much in osteosarcomas.


I am hoping to raise £5,000 to help offset the cost of alternative treatments and to help fund many of the supplements that I buy to support my body while it fights the cancer.
