After the destructive path of Hurricane Maria through Vieques, everyone on the island is working hard to rebuild. As family members in the United States we cannot sit idly by; we want to help our loved ones get their lives back in order.
This initiative began when our family witnessed the wrath of Maria from the outside and felt helpless. We realized through our networks on social media that we can have a great impact on their road to recovery.
The proceeds from this GoFundMe will go to three separate families on the island of Vieques. We will also have food, water, batteries and other necessities being sent out via mail once we have been cleared to do so. These will be sent out from family members in Florida.
