Vieques, Puerto Rico Care Packages

As most of you know, I used to live on a little island called Vieques. This island is located eight miles off the east coast of Puerto Rico and is one of two small islands that are part of Puerto Rico, Culebra being the other and the smallest. Today, for the first time, our friend Laine was able to post a list of things the island needs, so I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign in hopes of raising the money to get these items there quickly.

Below is a list of items she has requested for the island that I am hoping to collect money for:
 - pet meds: flea and tick pills, tick collars, heart worm meds, etc.
- solar lights
- bug spray
- sunblock
- tarps (for the people who no longer have roofs)
- tools
- other miscellaneous supplies

My plan is to buy and ship as the money comes in. Shipping is extremely expensive so unfortunately, a lot of the money will be used just to get the necessities there. 

I'll have facebook posts with updates on all the purchases and shipments, along with pictures of the items once they get to Vieques. So lets go!!! You said you wanted to help! This island is not getting the same media attention or aid as the mainland.  Thanks everyone!
