Almost one in three women worldwide has been subjected to physical and/or sexual violence in their lifetime. These devastating crimes throw women into despair and leave them living with trauma and fear. Only by raising awareness and pursuing justice can this awful statistic be changed.

We are a group of women joining forces from around the world who have survived assaults by men previously holding positions of power over us. We have been fighting for years to change laws to protect women and girls from gender-based violence. We urgently need funds to continue our advocacy work and support legal action.

As a global survivor group, Victorious Angels, has worked to remove stigma and fear attached to victims of sexual assault and rape, with members sharing their stories in the US, UK, Australian and European press and media. Shining a light on these long-hidden atrocities, we have made headlines around the world.

Our members have initiated and sustained criminal investigations into two alleged serial perpetrators. Our work with both cases has commanded worldwide attention and we continue to support victims: Jean-Luc Brunel had close links to Jeffrey Epstein and allegedly supplied him with over 1000 girls and young women. Brunel died in a French prison while awaiting the end of the criminal investigations opened against him for rape, rape of minors, sexual harassment and human trafficking. Most of his victims were outside the statute of limitations and would never have seen justice even if he’d lived. 

A criminal investigation into Gerald Marie has come up against the statute of limitations in France. All but one of his alleged victims have no way of proceeding through the French courts or of achieving justice. We continue to look at ways to hold him and others accountable.

We have addressed the French Senate and the EU Parliament with proposals to extend the limitation period in France for prosecuting rape and sexual assault. This year we will ask MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) and French senators to consider a statutory ‘lookback window’ under which victims of historic sex crimes can prosecute. We are exploring all legal remedies to help women achieve justice.

Bringing up memories of traumatic events each time we tell what happened to us is painful. But in doing so, we are giving voice to women who cannot tell their stories, often through fear, trauma or shame.

We stand with every woman who has ever experienced violence or harassment. We know we make a difference in women’s lives due to the number of survivors contacting us and expressing gratitude for our efforts.

Our volunteer group started four years ago, with our members donating considerable time and covering the extensive costs of running Victorious Angels administrative costs, legal costs, travel expenses, and fees relating to our activism. We had some minimal funding two years ago, for which we were grateful. In order to continue our work, we need your assistance.

2024 will be a critical year with trips back to the French Senate and the EU Parliament.

We are requesting financial support from every person and organisation sharing our conviction that current victims and future generations of women and girls at risk of sexual violence must be protected. 

Please help us continue our fight demonstrating that these soul-destroying crimes will not be tolerated as we work towards bringing consequences to perpetrators and push for legislation to protect women.

Our goal is to raise $50,000.00 to cover essential expenses, including:

-Another address to the French Senate, travel costs, accommodation, etc.

-Meeting with the members of the EU Parliament, with the same costs.

-Website development and maintenance.

-Legal costs.

We have made a big impact on the world stage, outing sexual predators, and giving dozens of women the courage to come forward. Each victory we have is a victory for all women. But we now need your help to continue our mission.
