Victims of Harvey need your help

Our names are Leia McAlister-Young and Kaia Emery. We are two middle school students who care greatly about people who are less fortunate then us and want to help those in need. Please help us create requested care packages for children and adults displaced by Hurricane Harvey. We'll do the work, but we need funds!
Recently, a terrible, unfair natural disaster hit the residents of Houston, Texas. Streets are flooded, homes are destroyed, and the people there desperately need our help. The money we collect will be used to make care packages for all ages. These care packages will be comprised of items specifically requested by organizations helping in Houston such as toothbrushes, body wash, and other essentials.
If we reach new goal of $2000, we will be able to make about 30 of each type of care package. (See below for details.) If we go over our goal, we will continue making packages or donate the money to the Harvey Relief effort if it becomes unrealistic to make that many packages. The packages will be shipped directly to Houston Montessori Center. Any donation, no matter the size, can make a difference. Please, if you have a couple of dollars and a moment to spare, donate to help these victims of this horrible disaster.
There are three types of care packages that have been requested. The three types of packages are as follows:
- packages for children four years and under (about $15 per package)
- packages for school age children (about $50 per package (including school uniform and backpack))
-packages for adults (about $15 per package)
If you feel strongly about one of these age groups, please comment with your donation and we will do our best to take your request into consideration when we are making the care packages.
If you are confused as to why we are making packages instead of just sending the money, it is because the organizations helping in Houston don't have enough man power to make the packages so they are requesting care packages instaead of just money.
