Vickie's Fire Relief
Donation protected
My mom's current home, my childhood home, went up in flames on March 10th, 2018. It was an electrical fire. The outside is standing, but everything inside is gone. She got out safely with her little yorkie, Lena. She lost her pet bird and everything materialistic inside the home. We hope that insurance will cover the house, but until then she needs money to purchase everyday essentials. She got out with, literally, only the clothes on her back. She had no shoes, no coat, no other clothes, no toiletries, nothing.
She does not want to ask for help, and normally I wouldn't either, but there is only so much I can do at this point. She is living with me for now, but still needs to purchase things. People keep asking and want to know what they can do to help. Right now people can't donate things because she has nowhere to put them. So monetary donations are what we can accept.
Donations will be used to buy clothes, food, toiletries, gas, etc. Anything left will be put back for when she gets a temporary/new place to furnish and buy household items.
