Vickey Burleson Porter Support Fund

          My dear friend Vickey Burleson Porter was involved in a car accident on June 6, 2018. Her car was completely demolished and her lower right leg was partially amputated. She has undergone three major surgeries since the incident in an attempt to save her leg and has another surgery scheduled for October 10,2018. If this next surgery is not successful, her only option is amputation. 
           Vickey had worked at Abilene Regional Medical Center for the past 24 years as a licensed vocational nurse. She is a pleasure to work with and has brought much joy and happiness to many of her patients, coworkers, and friends lives. Even during this time of hardship she has kept her spirits high and has us laughing (and crying) reading her daily posts.
