Joey Glassman Vibraphone Fund!

Update 8/8/17:
I have been overwhelmed and flabbergasted by the level of support and generosity of the donors for my campaign thus far! We met my previous goal of $500 within only a matter of hours; a goal that I didn't expect to reach within MONTHS! It is because of this philanthropy that I feel compelled to keep pushing!

Now, all of the donations I have received thus far will still be used for recording expenses ($545). However, I have been feeling a deep push to set the sky as the limit! I am in need of a new vibraphone. I have been thinking and praying about this and know that this is the right move in my career. I have been playing on a beautiful instrument for the last 12 years (my amazing parents purchased my current instrument for me when I was in middle school!), but the time for an upgrade has come.

The vibraphone I have in mind is the all new Malletech Omega Vibe. This is the vibraphone that will last me the REST of my professional career as a percussionist and jazz vibist. I have consulted mentors and friends alike in this matter, and know that it is the right career move. At this point, the vibraphone is on sale for $4999.99 plus shipping.

Please continue to spread the word: share, like, donate if you can. Again, ANYTHING HELPS in this journey. I can't thank my current donors enough for the support they have shown me. Let's keep going with this!

Original Post:
I am so excited for this release! This will be my debut self-produced duo's album with some of my favorite musicians to date! We want to share this beautiful music we have been creating! You rarely get to hear duos with vibraphone anymore!

The funds that you are providing will be going towards licensing requirements to release my duo's collection. The release of this collection will support those local jazz musicians that contributed to the recording. I hope to be able to release this recording before October 2017, so your generous support will help get us there!

It has been a dream of mind to be able to release music like this, and ever since I received the equipment necessary to do so, I've been chomping at the bit! Please consider donating; any amount helps! I can't wait to get this music out to the world to enjoy!

When you donate, you are stating that music and the arts are important to you! You hope that music stays alive and musicians can continue to produce quality content! You are supporting one of the most powerful forms of expression available!
