A very dear friend of ours has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Demetris Gilmore is only 28 years old and been informed he has cancer in his brain, eye, liver, lung and spine. Just this week they had to perform surgery on his brain to help relieve the fluid that has surrounded his brain. He is married and has two young children (ages 7 and 1) and he is self employed. His wife isn't currently working until the school year begins. They currently have no income coming in until she can return to work later this month. She is having to travel back and forth between the hospital and home to be there for both her children and husband. As we all know regardless of personal issues our bills continue to rise, both personal and now doctor bills. I am asking everyone to look deep in their hearts and understand the pressure this can cause on a person and offer whatever assistance you may be able to do to help relieve the additional stress this has caused them. Every dollar helps and every donation is deeply appreciated. Thank you all so much in advance and please feel free to share this post so we can help a family in need during their trying time. His spirit is so optimisitic even with the hand he was recently dealt. He believes in God's strength and power to help him through this and his perception of the outcome is humbling to me from the outside looking in. Thank you all and God bless.
