Vetrinary Care "Out of Pocket" Expenses

Monday 11/23 afternoon, Dandie, 12 year old happy, swirling, energetic Papillon had a slight hack cough, got him checked out, chest xray clear.
Less than 8 hours later his neck lymph nodes swelled terrifically under his chin! Panting! Distressed!Terrified!
I dashed 68 miles one way to 24 Emergency Specialty Hospital in Aurora, Illinois for emergency eval, labs, EKG, plan of care.
Next day, 0700 sedated oral exam, cervical ultrasound, heart ultrasound. Home on Thanksgiving day, peanut jelly sandwich for me, Dandie had NO appetite, he could barely swallow. Exhausted.
I started him on 3 prescriptions.
Results: Labs great, ultrasounds ok, no foreign bodies, no fever, aspiration pulled from lymph gland for cytology, finally back, not lymphoma.
Friday night his gland swelled again, labored breathing and his eyes sunk with much red inflammation and eye thick goop draining, back to ER vet on Saturday all day. Improved.
Last night, his eyes again super red inflamed and shrunken and panting.
We returned for urgent eye pressures at 730 pm and discharged home at 0230. Specific antigen testing pulled. Autoimmune?
Suspect air borne fungal infection from possibly inhaling contaminated soil/dust with the recent high winds, from farm's recently plowed corn fields nearby the local park paths we frequent. We were there the day prior with strong winds!
I can't believe this could affect my dog so much!!! This isn't even treatment plan long term.
If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate any small gift to help raise $1000 to offset his diagnostic out of pocket expenses of $1473.63.
Below is 1 of 4 claims. VCA Specialty Emergency Animal Hospital in Aurora, Illinois is on Speed Claim direct billing with Trupanion pet insurance.
They have processed his 5 days claims daily providing payment of $1712.06 from the total charges of $3185.69.
I can provide all claim outcomes, if requested.
We appreciate your support!
