Veterinary care for Thor

On Monday, September 28th while Diane Klemp was at work, someone came onto her property, went into her dog's outdoor enclosure and used two of her dogs as dog bait. Their collars were unclipped and placed outside of the enclosure. Thor got the brunt of the injuries and was already in septic shock by the time she got home from work and found him in a dirty, wet, cold & bloody mess. So far his treatment includes a plasma transfusion, IV fluids & antibiotics, surgical wound debridement and extensive ongoing wound care. At this point he is still in critical condition & we don't know if he will make it through due to the extent of his injuries. Diane is a receptionist at a local general practice veterinary clinic and Thor is currently under their care. Due to the extent of his injuries and critical state, this is somewhat beyond their scope of care. We would love to be able to get Thor to the Fox Valley Amimal Referral Center for ongoing care in order to give him the best chance at survival.  They estimate his care would cost $4,000-$6,000. Anything you would be willing to give would be greatly appreciated.
