Veterans Need Access NOW to HBOT For PTSD TBI

Donation protected

I am volunteering with several groups to make pressurized hyperbaric medicine available, accessible and affordable for our veterans.

I am thankful that a public affairs and government relations group, will be helping to rollout a campaign in the coming months as there are several important bills pending in Congress.    These bills include ones offered by Senators Cramer and Hoeven, as well as Rep. Murphy and Biggs.  I commend all these members for their outstanding advocacy and work on HBOT access for our veterans.  These firms  will also be overseeing the rollout of several national spokespersons including veterans, athletes and concussion patients who have  successfully used or are currently using hyperbaric medicine.   Finally, they will be helping with upcoming panel discussions to be determined at a later date as well as outreach to policymakers in Washington.  These campaigns to reach policy makers are multi-faceted as many of you know and I as one person simply can't impact this to save veterans today and tomorrow.  These outreach programs and campaigns are also expensive yet necessary to reach policymakers and get the necessary results for our veterans and others.

Today, I have the truly great honor of introducing to you Sergeant Sammy Davis and his wife Dixie - also known as the 'REAL' Forrest Gump.   Sergeant Davis served in the U.S. Army and specifically in Vietnam where he rescued several of his fellow servicemen who were under enemy fire.   He was awarded 2 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and Medal of Honor for his bravery, service and heroic efforts on behalf of his fellow soldiers and the United States of America.  Sergeant and Mrs. Davis are both successful users of hyperbaric medicine and I hope you will take a few minutes to listen to their story.

There are millions of veterans, concussion patients and long-haul COVID patients who deserve the same modality I have been fortunate to use.  I am hoping that through my linkedin network we can make this an American campaign to give back to those who protected our country, freedom and democracy.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is supported by peer-reviewed data over twenty years showing that this FDA-approved treatment is safe, effective and dramatically less expensive than not treating brain injuries.

Over 7,500 brain-wounded veterans, athletes, first responders and citizens have had a quality of life returned to them when they were told there was nothing that could be done.

Over 110 HBOT clinics in 33 states have contributed to this success and eight states have passed legislation calling for the use of HBOT for their own veterans.

I realize this is a big ask yet I also know that there are many out there, whether individually or the companies/organizations you work for that might be willing to help us ensure this critical care modality for our veterans.   This effort will be supported by several veterans groups, including TREATNOW, and hyperbaric doctors who are currently treating veterans around the country.

I am a user of HBOT, it saved my life and continues to give me an ongoing quality of life.  Our veterans who served so bravely deserve Washington to approve and cover this modality.

I would appreciate it if you would share this gofundme site with your contacts and friends.  Together we can give veterans the gift of therapeutic oxygen.

Finally, it should go without saying that I am currently not working, undergoing my own medical care and only helping to build some momentum for what should have been a national movement long ago.  I will not be paid, nor can I legally be paid, and all money will go directly to the firm overseeing this campaign.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
