About 22 Veteran's commit suicide daily. That's simply unacceptable! Yet, the VA has and continues to fail our veterans by committing resources to wasteful efforts engineered by incompetent bureaucrats. We can really do something about this and it starts by quickly and easily connecting our veterans to resources both within the VA system and locally.
This is a campaign to take action - the kind of action that will have an enormous impact. By asking T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and other wireless network operators to install the app as a default, we will provide nearly universal access to veterans in need. Vets may download the app for free and we will ask nothing else of them. We won't even be allowing advertising. It's only meant to be a simple and fast means of putting resources at the fingertips of vets the very moment they need them most.
As if that wasn't pretty great, the real benefit is in driving up traffic to the VA so as to force the proper allocation of money and other resources to provide for our veterans' wellbeing.
