Rescued Cat & her babes need Vet Care!

We met Luna on a camping trip the first weekend of May. She was a sweet, friendly young Bombay. She was also very hungry, cold and pregnant. She stayed near our camp, loving on us every chance she could for our entire trip.
On our final day, we asked about her in the office and among other campers. All anyone knew is that she had been around for about 3 weeks and no one was able to take her in. Well... we couldn't leave a pregnant queen homeless, so we gave her a home.
She was excited to go home with us and endured the 10 hour drive like a champion! She nestled into our home like an old friend coming home and gobbled up every morsel of food we gave her. She was happy, healthy, loved and getting very, very big!
The next two weeks, we were busy creating a cat room complete with a cat tree and birthing box. Everything was handmade from materials on-hand or picked up through FB marketplace. No doubt, Miss Luna and her babes were already loved!
Two weeks from the day we arrived home, Miss Luna gave birth to 5 very healthy kittens. 4 girls and 1 boy.
Covid 2020 has made it interesting to get the kittens cared for and adopted without putting that burden onto local shelters or rescues.
Affordable local Spay/Neuter clinics are either closed or do not have available appointments until December. Although veterinarians can provide care sooner, clinics range from $164-$280 for the spay alone.
Veterinarians at Quail Pointe Animal Care are able to take appointments much sooner and provide Luna and her kittens with the care they need. They have an excellent customer rating and come highly recommended by pet lovers.
Our goal is to raise $1,300 to cover the following veterinary expenses and help them find their forever home(s) and to keep the burden off of local shelters who are facing their own challenges during this time.
