Vet Bill Support for Emotional Support Dog Abbie
Donation protected
Liz Duncan is one of the most incredible, compassionate and giving human beings on this earth. Unfortunately she has suffered and survived an immense amount of trauma from childhood to adult relationships and suffers from PTSD as a result. Despite these challenges she continues to courageously tell her story and works to empower other women to overcome trauma and thrive. She is in graduate school for Public Health learning the skills to make this world a better place while trying to make ends meet between two jobs all while founding a non-profit called Abbey’s Place dedicated to helping trauma survivors. Her nonprofit is named after her sister Abbey who sadly ended her life by suicide and had herself endured childhood sexual trauma. Abbey had no safe space or time to reprocess her traumatic memories. Liz recently rescued a 4 legged angel into her life who is her beloved support animal and who by chance happens to be named Abbie. Abbie ate something toxic by accident this week during a walk in the woods and had to go to the emergency vet. Although Abbie is doing much better now, the vet bills have financially devastated Liz while she is already struggling to stay financially afloat. Please consider donating to help Liz during this time so that she can enjoy the holiday season with a little less stress and her healthy pup by her side.
