VERY URGENT: Help QPOC Thams stay in Germany!!

THIS IS VERY URGENT PLEASE HELP ME STAY IN GERMANY

 

Hello, My name is Thams. I am a trans non-binary artist based in Berlin, Germany.

I have spent 24 months trying to get my visa renewed and married to my partner but because of Corona restrictions and visa limitations I have been unable to travel to Copenhagen to get married until now. My marriage appointment is in 2 weeks!

 

Many of you donated and came to my fundraiser in 2019 to cover legal fees but now after corona and endless paperwork I again need to cover legal fees and travel costs or my marriage, my business and my livelihood that I have been fighting so hard for over the past 2 years are at risk. This is literally my last chance to obtain my visa and remain in Germany.

 

I already hired a lawyer to help with the bureaucracy but after 2 years the require another payment before continuing my case. We chose to get married tin Copenhagen because as trans persons there were less restrictions and the amount of paperwork and burden of proof to marry in Berlin was so imbalanced for a Thai citizen. (€500 translation fees, needing to fly back to my home country for documents, etc.) And also because of politic and human rights/free speech from where I am from as well....

 

Now I have been given a marriage date in Denmark in 2 weeks and have a once in a life opportunity to marry my partner but I need to ask for help to cover legal fees, registration fees, travel costs, housing costs…. Please consider donating to help stay in Germany and to support a queer/POC/trans marriage! I don’t want to loose my community and the life that I have built through all this struggle here in Berlin.

At the moment I am the only main income in my household. And with my current income I am be able to support my family for our everyday life expense and bills but with this amount of money and I need 70% of it by 10days

I couldn't be able to find this much money this fast. So I decided to be vulnerable and transparent here.

 

I have been coming thru this journey with my love ones. I have been here long enough to settled down and called this place my home. The way thru it is so long and I am very tired of it. I felt like every time I cried if I collect my tears it would be over 1000Litre .... But I still have hope. Please help me. Please don't let me go. I almost make it there. Please don't take me away from my chosen family. I do belong here.
