If you ever met Veronica, you would know that my mom was an energetic, selfless, caring and loving woman, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved playing with her grandkids, dancing and telling stories.
Veronica has had a difficult life, she lost her oldest son seven years ago and her husband suffered significant brain trauma after an accident, ten years ago.
A little over a year ago she started having problems with her memory and little by little began developing more symptoms and getting worse. Her doctors ordered MRIs, CT Scans, PETC Scans, etc... but everything appeared normal and they were unsure what was wrong with her. A month ago, after she was unresponsive, we took a trip to the ER and found out that she had a large cancerous tumor in the brain. Doctors removed the majority of the tumor and were hopeful that she would be strong enough to undergo cancer treatment; however, she has not regained consciousness after her surgery and at the moment, doctors tell us that she may only have a few days left to live.
Because of her condition, neither her nor my dad have worked in over a year and with medical bills piling up as well as the possibility of additional end of life costs, any help would be greatly appreciated as she does not have life insurance.

Si conoces a Verónica, sabes que mi mamá es una mujer ‘tierna', llena de energía, generosa y cariñosa, una maravillosa: madre, esposa y abuela a quien le encanta jugar con sus nietos, bailar y platicar.
Verónica ha tenido una vida difícil: ella perdió a su hijo mayor hace siete años y su marido sufrió trauma cerebral después de un accidente hace diez años.
Hace poco más de un año, ella empezó a tener problemas con su memoria y poco a poco comenzó a desarrollar más síntomas y su condición empeoró rápidamente. Se le hicieron varios estudios pero los resultados fueron normales y sus doctores no estaban seguros de que era lo que le pasaba. Hace un mes, después de que ella no respondía, fue llevada al hospital en donde se descubrió que tenía un tumor canceroso en el cerebro. Los médicos lograron remover la mayor parte del tumor y tenían esperanzas de que ella se recuperaría lo suficiente como para someterse a tratamiento contra el cáncer. Sin embargo, ella no ha recuperado la consciencia después de la cirugía y en este momento, los médicos nos dicen que sólo le quedan pocos días más de vida.
Debido a su condición, ni ella ni mi padre han trabajado en más de un año y con las facturas médicas acumulándose así como la posibilidad de costos adicionales si fallece, cualquier ayuda sería muy agradecida ya que lamentablemente, ella no cuenta con un seguro de vida.
