Today, May 2, 2020, Vernon M Robinson got his wings.
He was a good dad that loved cooking, gardening and his family. He was a life long resident of Rock Island. Most people would know him as that guy that rode his bike all thru Rock Island and an employee of the McDonald's on 11th st for many years.
Dad had a big heart and would give you his last dime. He showed his love by serving family and friends with the most incredible homemade food you could ever taste.
As he got older, he was diagnosed with Dementia. Even thought he had this disease, he always had a smile on his face. After a long hard fight with dementia, he contracted Covid19.
Only 1 short week later, he passed on.
My dad was my 1st real love. He always treated me like his princess. We laughed ALOT. We cried together. He was always there for me especially when I needed him the most. He loved me and my brother with a fierce passion. His face lit up when he was around his grandkids.
If you could please help with his memorial service, we (his family) would truly and sincerely appreciate anything you can help with.

I'll miss you everyday
