Prayers and Love for Ventura

We have created this account for our dear friend Ventura, who was diagnosed with breast cancer on September 20th, 2018. Her last regular 3D scans in December showed normal results, but since then one of five tumors aggressively increased over a centimeter within days and she is now at Stage IV.
She started chemo treatment quickly on October 8th, at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) and they have her on an intense plan, which is why we could use any help, and of course any prayers. They’ve recommended eight treatments every other week over four months and then surgery after a one-month recovery period. After surgery she will endure six weeks of radiation, followed by reconstructive surgery.
Ventura is a single mother of three beautiful kids and has provided a wonderful life for all them. She is strong, sets high goals, and has a lust for living life to the fullest. She graduated from ASU in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice while working full-time and has traveled all over the world. She goes hiking when she can and is not afraid of climbing the most challenging mountains. She bakes for with her granddaughter and loves spending time with her family and friends.
Fortunately, Ventura has been with the same employer for over fifteen years and has health insurance and other benefits. She went on a short-term leave October 4; however, beginning December 4th her income will be reduced significantly. While her insurance will cover most of the medical costs, there is absolutely no way of knowing what her personal and financial burden will be in the end
Our goal is to keep that thought furthest from her mind and allow her to use every ounce of strength to fight this horrible disease and all the treatment and procedures to come. We are asking for any donations, even as little as $5 helps, and every prayer will be greatly appreciated.
