Veko's Leukemia Battle

    My cousin, actress Veko Buchukuri, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. She lives in Georgia (country) with her beautiful young son, Sandro.

Two years ago Veko underwent a chemotherapy and the disease went into remission. But now it came back quite aggressively.

Veko is in an urgent need of a bone marrow transplant. The procedure can only be performed in a highly advanced clinic outside the borders of her homeland. It is extremely expensive. The existing inferior medical (and technical) standards of her native Georgia make it impossible for her to even dream about getting the cure locally.

The time is of the greatest essence in this matter of life and death. No contribution is too little. Every single dollar counts.

We hope, together we can make a difference in the lives of this beautiful family and save little Sandro from the horrors of growing up without his mom by his side.
