St. Vincent Volcano Relief Fund
Hello friends, My name is Shelly Holdman.
On Friday April 9th, the La Soufriere volcano on the island of St. Vincent erupted. It has erupted several times since then, covering the island (especially the northern region) in heavy ashfall. Thousands have been evacuated from their homes in the red zone. Almost 10,000 evacuees are currently in public shelters.
When the rains started on April 29th, the heavy ash and lahars flow caused devastating flooding and landslides.
Homes have been lost, livelihoods have been lost, but hope prevails.
This is the beloved land where I was born and raised. This is where my parents, siblings and the majority of my extended family reside. This will always be home to me.
Our Grace Community Church family here in Bartlesville, OK have started collecting supplies to ship to St. Vincent. 100% of funds raised will be used to help with shipping costs and to help with purchasing necessary supplies.
Thank you for your kind support and prayers.
