Darlene

                                 Always look at the bright side of life.

Darlene is in a category of her own, not a good category to be in but one that will benefit others with cancer like hers.  

The cancer that has stricken Darlene, many times over the past 10 years, is back with a vengeance.  The prognosis does not leave much time.

Imagine fighting this disease for this long and the toll it would take on any of us, the family and life in general.  For the past 2 years Darlene has been able to work only minimally, and that's from home.  And just recently Steve got fired unexpectedly.  Luckily Steve starts a new job next week, but it is out of town and he will be staying there Sunday-Friday.

Darlene will need as much help as she can get with going to her doctors appointments ( a few a week), getting Hunter to his soccer games, cooking meals, doing everyday stuff.

The money we raise will go to Darlene to use as she sees fit in the upcoming months.  I am hoping she will be able to get some help with the house and not spend it all on her medical bills.
