Unexpected Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Dear family and friends. My younger brother Mike (28 yrs old) passed away this past weekend due to an unexpected suicide. He leaves behind 4 beautiful children Mikey 8, Richard 5, Natalie 3, and Kyrie 6 months. Unfortunately, he was the sole custodial parent for his older 3 children as their mother had previously relinquished rights a few years ago. He was an amazing father whom struggled with depression however that never stood in his way to fight for custody of them and do the best he could with what he had. He had a love of the outdoors and often could be found with the children out fishing or enjoying a day at the zoo. I am asking today for assistance in helping pay for his funeral cost ($3200.00) as my father and step mother have filed for custody in order to avoid the children going into foster care. My father is a Vietnam veteran and therefore lives on social security due to health complications, and his wife is a school bus driver. Due to the unexpected expense of taking the children onto their home, attempting to file for custody in addition to funeral cost they are currently unable to pay for a funeral. Thus are forced to honor their son in a minimal way by cremation which still cost almost $1000. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated even if its 5$ as each small donation adds up. Please help me in honoring Mike’s life by providing him a proper funeral in addition to providing closure for many of those who love and adore him. RIP brother until we meet again.
