Vassa's surgery relief fund

Hello, my name is Vassa Brooks, I am 33 years old, a wife and mother of two beautiful children. Logan is 9 and Madison is 7. I was born with a condition called a vascular malformation. It is located in my neck, tongue and throat. One of the anomilies is connecting my vein to my artery which causes the blood to pump out of the left side of my heart and back to the right side of my heart without going through my body and collecting oxygen from my lungs. This has caused me to get very sick all the time. I get lightheaded and dizzy spells through out the day, I have trouble breathing and get chest pains since my heart pumps over time. Then there is the anomilies themselves that are growths that apply a lot of pressure and pain as they grow in places they are not suppose to grow. There are procudures called Sclarotherapy that help collapse the anomilies to shrink them down in size, they are extremely painful procedures. In the past few years it has grown into my ear and my head and my surgeon is not sure if it can bypass that skull or not but if it does then it will only be a matter of time for me. I have been in a huge battle with my insurance company about approving this surgery and have been rescheduled 4 times. I finally received a call today saying that it is approved and I go in on the 13th for my procedure. This will be surgery number 9 or 10, I cant remember exactly how many its been so far over the years. Since I have been very ill and fighting with insurance to get approved for surgery, I have not been able to work putting a financial strain on us. My recovery can last up to 2 or more months. I am asking if anyone can help with our financial situation I would be most greatful. My husband is very stressed about my procudure as is since we dont know which way the surgery can go and our financial burdens are the last thing he needs to worry about during this time.
