Vasquez Family - Recovery from Fire

The Vasquez family (Flor, Ramon and their sons, Port Chester High School seniors Jonathan and Brian) suffered a devastating house fire on December 26. The family and their dogs survived the fire, but sadly, their other pets did not. The family lost everything except the clothes on their backs and will be needing housing, clothing and food and all other essentials in the coming days/weeks. Please remember the Vasquez family during this season of giving and love and donate what to can to assist them in rebuilding their lives.  I am in contact with Flor and she will the sole beneficiary of any donations.

Update : (9:30pm 12/26/17)

I met with Flor (the mom) this evening to attach this gofundme account to her bank account for direct deposits. The family is staying temporarily with friends as Flor hunts for a 2BR apartment in Port Chester. Contact me if you have any information on available apartments. In the meantime, both Jonathan and Brian were to celebrate their 18th birthdays tomorrow (December 27). They are very sad because they lost a bearded dragon, 6 leopard geckos and an aquarium of fish in the fire, along with all of their things (including computer).

They boys are in need of clothing in the following sizes:

Shirts/jackets - size Medium men's
Pants - size 32" waist and 30-32" length
Shoes - size 12

Donated items (please just start with clothing until they find a place to live) can be dropped off at All Souls Parish/The Presbyterian Church at 55 Parkway Drive (across from Lyon Park). There is someone there between 9-12am on weekdays, but if nobody is there you can leave the items on the covered portico and someone will bring them in periodically.
