Community service - SDSA Members - Need help:

Many of you may already know, but for those that do not ,we have a SDSA member that needs our help. Varsha Kalani has been suffering from major eye problems for the past year. She has had 2 major surgeries in both eyes in the past 6 months. Unfortunately, the surgery in the left eye did not go well and she lost all her vision. Few months later she had a retinal detachment in the right eye and had surgery in that eye. Unfortunately that surgery also did not go as planned and she has a big loss of vision In the right eye. So now, she is basically blind from both eyes, unable to drive or even see her phone. Dipak has been helping her and trying to get a surgeon friend to take a second opinion and see what they can do to make things better so she can have some vision. She has very little vision left out of the right eye and may need another surgery to keep that.

We are talking to few of our family members and I think this kind of situations may arise to someone else in our family. We are growing every year and with the grace of God, we are all happy and Healthy.
It's a good idea if everyone can help as per their limitation and help Varsha and her family. Shweta is studying and working part time to help her family. We can at least do something to help them.

If everyone can pitch in a minimum $50 donation, this can be a big help to her family.  A little help by all of us can go a long way for Varsha and her kids in this difficult time.
