Vanessalynne Hattar Fire Recovery

CALLING ALL FRIENDS AND FAMILY: Just like that, everything changes... Yesterday, Sunday, August 23rd, Vanessalynne Hattar's home in Walnut Creek burned down. Our beautiful cat and family member, Thelma, was lost. All of her possessions. Years worth of work for her clothing business, Vanessalynne Designs, is gone. She was not home, but her father, Naji, was and barely made it out alive. He was rescued by Contra Costa Fire and Rescue moments before he jumped from the balcony, and will be in the Santa Clara Burn Unit for the next few weeks. Much of his business was based out of their home as well and is now lost.
They were leasing their home, so the insurance will only cover a small fraction of the damage. Everything they owned must be replaced. Every piece of furniture. All of their clothes. Computers. Their businesses. Everything. They are left with the clothes on their back, and that's pretty much it.
Anything you can give would be appreciated. $1. Anything. We thank God for surrounding us with love and support from family and friends like you as we start to put the pieces back together.
