Van for Missions

Since 2014 (except 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic), We at Flowing Rivers have served an orphanage in Nakuru, Kenya. We have co-built a primary and secondary school, set up a thriving bakery, supported a water treatment and bottling plant and we are currently supporting them with a poultry farm.
The mounting cost of transportation for the groups that come out to Kenya for the work is no longer tenable as an ongoing strategy, therefore we need a better, sustainable solution. A solution where the workers are helped and the orphanage is supported adequately, therefore we decided to buy a van.
A van for missions will serve as a means of transportation whilst we are there and an income generator for the orphanage by deploying it for use a local transport, hiring it out for weddings, safaris etc.
We don't want to just empower them by sending funds but rather by providing something that can generate funds for them and instil more confidence in them.
By the grace of God, in a couple of months, we will be returning to Kenya to continue with the work God has started through us and we've set a deadline of June to achieve our £10,000 goal.
The greatest investment in life is the investment in life, so why not contribute and be part of the change we're having over all the kids lives at Sure24.
