Valvidares’ Lilac Fire Home Fund

Donation protected
Just before noon on December 7, 2017, what is now known as the Lilac Fire started at Old Hwy 395 at Dulin Road in Bonsall, California.  In the short hours that followed, the Santa Ana winds fueled a devastating and unpredictable fire path that ultimately burned down the Valvidares' residence.

The Valvidares family lived in their home for 10 years. Their family includes parents Abel & Flor, their children Izzy (22), Daisy (21), Magali (20), Candy (18), two cats and a dog. Their home was completely destroyed in the Lilac Fire, so they are currently staying in a hotel.

"We thank God that our family and pets are safe, but the fire completely destroyed our home: taking with it all of our belongings and cherished memories. We humbly ask for your help in these hard times for our family. Our need is to rebuild what was lost, re-establish a home and begin to move forward after the disastrous fire. With your donation and support we can begin the rebuilding process.

We would also like to thank the local Fire Department and volunteers for all of their efforts and support."
