Donations needed to fund a video of Vali’s art and life.
My connection with Vali started when I found a book of her intricately compelling art in a 2nd hand bookshop. The next day, I heard her on the radio. She sounded like a shamanic Aboriginal woman! Co-incidentally, her long time lover, Gianni Menichetti, recently told me Vali often called herself a “white lubra”
Vali was very down to earth and would greet most people with her inimitable Aussie “Hello Luv!” It wasn’t just her exotic beauty which drew both men and women to her, she had a wild animal magnetism few could resist. You see and hear it in her exquisite drawings, her voice, and in all her strong, no bullshit views on Life, Love and her beloved animals.
With permission from the Vali Myers Trust to use her images, I’m asking for donations to make a video including her amazing artwork, photographic portraits of Vali, and a collection of her quotes.
Gianni Menichetti, a dear friend, was Vali’s long time lover, living with her at Il Porto, her wildlife oasis in Italy. He is collaborating on this creation with great stories about his life with Vali and some of her natural wisdom and observations as fiercely independent artist who often lived on the edge, was loved by many, and adored animals.

I'll be working on this video to upload onto Youtube where all those who love Vali and her work will be able to acccess it and I would very much appreciate any and all donations which will make it possible for me to devote the time required to do Vali and her gorgeous, magical art justice.
