I am doing a fundraiser for Valeria Baker to help cover the past due amount she has incurred while staying at the Chalet of Niles Nursing Home. Valeria was diagnose with Parkinson’s Decease and the start of Dementia. When she went into the Nursing Home she was still paying rent, car insurance and all her other monthly bills.
At the time of her admittance her case worker had applied for a supplemental income thru the State of Michigan to help cover her nursing home stay. Val has got approved for this supplemental income but with the stipulation her spend down was $2490.00.
Therefore, while waiting for them to approve her application for this supplemental income which took two months, she was still paying for her house and bills.
Now that she has been approved for the supplemental income and the State of Michigan says her spend down is $2490.00 a month, Chalet of Niles is billing her for June and July for a total of $4980.
So, I Lucinda her sister humbly ask for any assistance to help her pay this past due amount.
