Val got hit by a truck and had a brain hemorrhage

update 6/12/2020: it's been 15 months since I was hit, my settlement is moving forward at a snail's pace, my state disability payments ran out right when lockdown started, I was homeless for two months late last year while dealing with severe memory loss, cognitive and sensory issues, and focal aware seizures; and the stress put me in a catatonic state for another two months once I got somewhere safe; it feels like there's no end in sight and any future I had has been taken from me and I have so many medical bills in collections I've just kinda given up on ever having a decent credit score again. I don't have any pressing emergencies to pay for but I'm being threatened with homelessness again, in the middle of a pandemic while still very much disabled, for the financial strain Ive been putting on my family. stuffs whack yo.

update: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I had a brain hemorrhage the er didn't notice at first I’m not able to work any more because of cognitive difficulties idfk what to do


Hey y’all I got hit by an suv while I was in a crosswalk and busted my face all up, luckily they stopped and have insurance so I’m not totally screwed but the time off from work has left me with less than $200 for the entire month which stretches me way too thin for food, meds, and to feed my two 10 year old German Shepard mixes; things I don’t want to stress about while I’m healing.
I will be reimbursed by their insurance at some point but right now I’m kind of screwed.
