Vahdat’s Medical Fund

Vahdat was diagnosed with prostate cancer last August. After undergoing treatments and surgery, he started having problems in other areas of his body and after further testing, it was revealed that he has stage four renal (kidney) cancer that has spread to his blood and bones. The doctor recommended treated is Votrient and Zometa, costing approximately $10,000 a month. As a family, we are staying positive and hoping the treatments are effective and will help him beat cancer. This money will help us with some of his medical expenses and other needs. As hard as this is for my daughter and I to do, we have been getting overwhelming support from friends who expressed that they want to help us. We have never done anything like this before but we have never been in a situation like this either.
